Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the StartupInvest mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the "Service") operated by Ameno Teknoloji Limited Şirketi(brand name "StartupInvest"; "Company," "we," "us," or "our"), with registered address at Barbaros Mh. Lale sk. no 2 /13 Ataşehir İstanbul. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding contract to use the Service. By using the Service you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at legal@startupinvest.net of any unauthorized use.

3. Subscriptions and In-App Purchases

The Service offers paid subscriptions purchased through Apple's App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android). The current plans are:

• Founder Pro — $19.99/month or $171.99/year (auto-renewing).
• Investor Pro — $129.99/month or $749.99/year (auto-renewing).
• Boost (founder add-on) — $29.99/week (auto-renewing).

Prices are displayed in your local currency by the store at the time of purchase and may include applicable taxes. The exact list price is set by Apple or Google in your region.

3.1 Automatic Renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the period ends. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, at the same price and duration as the original subscription.

3.2 Cancellation

You can cancel a subscription at any time from your device's store settings. Cancellation stops the auto-renewal; the subscription remains active until the end of the current paid period.

• iOS: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → StartupInvest → Cancel Subscription.
• Android:Google Play Store → profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → StartupInvest → Cancel subscription.

3.3 Refunds

All subscription payments are processed and refunded exclusively by Apple or Google under their respective refund policies. StartupInvest cannot issue refunds directly because we do not store your payment information.

• Apple (EU/UK consumers): a statutory 14-day withdrawal right applies. Outside that window, Apple may grant refunds on a case-by-case basis via reportaproblem.apple.com.
• Google Play: you may request a refund within 48 hours of purchase via the Play Store order receipt, or contact Google Play support for later requests.

3.4 Free Trials and Introductory Offers

If we offer a free or discounted trial, you will not be charged during the trial period. The paid subscription begins automatically at the end of the trial unless you cancel before it ends. Trials are limited to one per user per product.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of content you submit to the Service (startup profiles, pitch decks, messages). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, and display that content for the purpose of operating the Service.

You represent that you have all rights necessary to submit your content and that it does not violate any third-party rights or applicable law. We may remove content we believe violates these Terms.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose.
• Submit false or misleading information in a startup profile or pitch deck.
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with a company.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload the Service.
• Circumvent payment or attempt to unlock paid features without paying.

6. No Investment Advice

StartupInvest is a matchmaking platform. We do not provide investment, legal, tax, or financial advice. AI-generated reports, scoring, and matching suggestions are informational only. Any decision to invest in, or accept investment from, a party introduced via the Service is solely yours. You should perform your own due diligence.

7. Not a Broker-Dealer

StartupInvest is not a registered broker-dealer, investment adviser, or funding portal. We do not execute securities transactions or hold investor funds. Any financial arrangement between founders and investors introduced through the Service is negotiated and executed directly between those parties.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, branding, and software, is owned by StartupInvest and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our trademarks, logos, or trade dress.

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from the app's settings. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we reasonably believe you have engaged in fraudulent or harmful activity. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately; paid subscriptions are governed by Section 3 above.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that matches will result in funding.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, StartupInvest shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Turkey without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Istanbul, Turkey, unless local mandatory consumer law gives you the right to a different forum.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via the app or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
